Caldwell's Travel Tips
1. Find out if you need a Passport or Visa. If your passport
is due to expire 12 months from your travel date you will not
be allowed to leave the Country.
2. Find out if you need innoculations (shots).
3. Find out the climate so you can dress appropriately (in and
out of the water) including water temperature.
4. Bring more than enough money (in travelers checks).Know the
exchange rate and how much per day in accommodations, rental
car, food. Exchange some money at the airport then in the bank
at your destination.
5. Travel light. Don’t bring too much "stuff".
Travel sensibly. Drink plenty of water during your travel time
and upon arrival to your destination.
6. Be courteous to the people and the landscape, especially
in the line-up.
7. Learn simple phrases of the language, like Thank You, excuse
me, can you help me.
8. Know your limitations: Don’t go out in the waves if
you think you can’t handle it. Baywatch won’t be
there to rescue you.
