Trick
Riding Tips
360’s
1. Keep your legs together and ankles locked at all times.
2. Keep your head up, back arched and weight centered over your
hands.
3. Use the energy of the wave together with the momentum of
your body.
4. Try to do them in the most critical part of the wave.
5. You can drag a hand to learn, but it will be a bad habit
to break.
6. Use reverse 360’s on the flat part of the wave to stall
for better position.
7. Attempt to do 360’s in multiple combinations- that
is the only way you will learn.
8. If you have mastered them (a true test is ride a pointbreak)
see if you can spin across the entire face of the wave.
9. Try to coordinate your arm, head and leg movements when you
begin 360’s (all at the same time).
10. Remember, faster is better so whip your 360’s around
as fast as you can.
